Reading Practice: My First Trip to Pari Island

Last month, my family and I went to Pari Island in Thousand Islands. We went there by a wooden boat from Muara Angke Port. The journey took about two hours.

When we arrived, the weather was very sunny. We stayed in a small but clean homestay. After putting our bags away, we rented bicycles and rode around the island. The island was beautiful with white sand and clear blue water.

The next morning, we went snorkeling. I saw many colorful corals and beautiful fish. At first, I was a bit scared of the deep water, but my father helped me. After snorkeling, we had grilled fish for lunch on the beach. It was the most delicious meal I had ever tasted.

We went home in the afternoon. I felt exhausted but very happy. I hope I can visit the island again someday.
